Construction Management Platform

B2B SaaSYear: 2026

I led the design of Billdr’s first mobile app for general contractors and their crews, from field research to a cross platform design system and a validated MVP.

Role: Lead Product Designer

Research, ideation, design system and prototyping, with a team of 2 product designers.

  • Research on site.

I interviewed GCs, workers and subs and found the real friction was uncertainty, not complexity.

  • Glanceable flows.

I rebuilt the hierarchy so priority tasks and clock in sit one tap away, made for one handed use.

  • Voice to task.

I designed a voice agentic flow so workers dictate tasks on the go instead of filling out forms.

  • Design system from zero.

I set up a token system on shadcn/ui and React Native Reusables that scales from mobile to web.

Agentic Retention Platform

Which members haven’t booked in 3 weeks?

Agentic Retention Platform

B2B SaaSYear: 2026

I designed the surfaces where studio owners meet Chloe: connecting their CRM, reading the business at a glance, and talking to an AI that acts on what it sees, on web and on the floor.

Role: Lead Product Designer

I worked from concept to high fidelity with the founder, and engineering, and wrote the interface copy myself.

  • Onboarding.

Seven steps from a cold landing to a live CRM, designed in parallel for desk and mobile, with every error state covered.

  • Business Pulse.

A dashboard you can read over a coffee. It opens on today’s focus first, then members at risk, visits and trends.

  • Ask Chloe.

I turned the blank prompt into prompt starters drawn from an owner’s real week, and long analysis comes back as a document.

  • Words and system.

I wrote the UX copy alongside the layouts and mapped tokens first, so Chloe’s voice and look hold together.

Designing the trust layer for enterprise AI, so people could check, correct and teach the model.

Review 12 low confidence fields...

Otera AI Document Automation

Ent. SaaSYear: 2023–25

I led product design for a Series A platform that automates back office documents with in house models and LLMs. I owned the design discipline, the design system and features like HITL, AI Coworker and pre processing.

Role: Founding Product Designer.

HITL drove a 40% increase in MRR. Trust drove adoption, and adoption drove expansion.

  • Research that reframed it.

In 12 interviews we learned that users didn’t distrust the model. They distrusted having no say in it.

  • Human in the loop.

I designed a split screen review with confidence scoring, so users could triage errors instead of redoing everything.

  • AI Coworker

I designed a copilot that lets users customize and automate document flows in plain language. It reached 84% engagement.

  • Pre processing.

I let users shape labels and outputs before inference, which brought 92% engagement and a 10% drop in churn.

NexScale Website Rebuild

Framer websiteYear: 2026

I audited the live site, wrote the case for change, repositioned the product and shipped a redesigned site on Framer. I owned it end to end in one week.

Role: Web Designer and Developer

The site described a mission but never showed the product. The fix was more about content than craft.

  • Audit first.

I logged 21 findings by section and rated them critical, major or minor, so the team could triage instead of debating taste.

  • An offer, not a mission.

I rewrote the hero around what operators worry about and merged three competing product names into one.

  • Light, because the reader is.

I moved the site from dark developer chrome to a warm, light theme that owners read on a phone between classes.

  • Proof and one path.

I put outcome numbers and named quotes above the fold, and every section now leads to one CTA.

AI ATS and CRM (HRTech)

B2B SaaSYear: 2021–23

As cofounder and CPO, I led product and design for an AI ATS and CRM built to make tech hiring faster, fairer and data driven. My work ran from the design system to the features that moved revenue.

Role: Cofounder, CPO

AI Search drove a 13% increase in MRR, and nurturing lifted engagement with passive candidates to 80%.

  • Research with recruiters.

In 15 interviews, 80% said candidates went cold after first contact. The pool was full but unreachable.

  • Nurturing sequences.

I designed reusable cadences with clear exit rules and a review step, so recruiters trusted automation sent in their name.

  • AI Search.

I designed natural language search with inline match reasoning. Trust rose from 2.9 to 4.4 without changing the ranking.

  • Design system.

I built the tokens and DSM that kept the web and mobile products consistent as we grew.

Qualify a new procedure for CSA W47.1...

Welding Compliance AI

B2B SaaSYear: 2026

I designed a web app that automates welding procedure qualification. A conversational assistant guides supervisors from first inquiry to final approval, against CSA W47.1 and AWS D1.1.

Role: Product Designer

Welding supervisors with low tech comfort, who were losing time and money to paperwork and outside consultants.

  • Guided by conversation.

I replaced dense compliance forms with a chat flow that asks one clear question at a time.

  • Compliance built in.

I designed automated checks that flag gaps against industry standards before anything is submitted.

  • One place for records.

I gave procedures, welder certifications and test documents a single, organized home.

  • Status you can trust.

I designed clear tracking for every procedure through testing and certification, so nothing gets lost.

About me

I also code, speak in English and French, play soccer and volleyball.

I'm Pouya aka poulo (pronounced p-ou-l-o), a product manager with background in business and software engineering who fell in love with design. I've learned to design, build and test ideas quickly.

Outside of work, I tinker with AI tools like Claude mostly with Antigravity/Cursor to create small productivity experiments. Away from the screen, you'll find me cooking, playing football, or watching a game.
